Our Story

 

GLAYSE Skin Theory was born from frustration, love, and a determination to create something better.

As a Registered Nurse, I've spent my career helping people heal. But some of the most personal healing happened at home.

For years, I watched my son struggle with acne, dark spots, and the emotional toll that comes with not feeling confident in your own skin. At the same time, I was battling hormonal acne myself. Like so many others, we spent hundreds, then thousands, of dollars searching for products that promised clear skin but delivered disappointment. Many were too harsh, stripped our skin barrier, caused irritation, or left our melanin-rich skin looking uneven, dull, or over-processed. Others simply didn't work.

What I learned was that the skincare industry often focuses on quick fixes instead of healthy skin.

I decided enough was enough.

I began studying ingredients, formulations, and the science behind skin health through both my nursing background and countless hours of research. What started as a mission to help my family became a passion to help others who were experiencing the same frustrations.

The result is GLAYSE Skin Theory.

A skincare brand built on a simple belief: healthy skin creates lasting radiance.

At GLAYSE, we don't believe in harsh treatments, bleaching, or chasing unrealistic beauty standards. We believe in supporting the skin's natural ability to heal, strengthening the skin barrier, and creating a glow that comes from consistency, nourishment, and care.

Every product is intentionally formulated with clean, high-quality ingredients chosen to support hydration, barrier health, clarity, and radiance, especially for melanin-rich skin that deserves products designed with its unique needs in mind.
